WHAT TO EXPECT!
When you book with us you are NOT booking a photographer who is going to ask you to stand in front of the camera and give your best smile (okay perhaps just one for your grandparents). You are booking a photographer who understands the value of a moment and the value of making a moment as authentic as possible.
We thrive on authenticity and documenting YOU, not a forced smile.
When you show up to a shoot with me, we will have already established a friendship that will help carry through your session. Nobody got time for being nervous or shy showing up to a shoot, so you’re gonna get to know me beforehand, whether you like it or not ;)
COUPLES, this is for you!
Expect to incorporate something that’s unique to your relationship in our shoot. Take some time to think it over.
If your first date was taco bell, heck you better expect me to ask you to meet me at a taco bell for the first portion of your shoot.
If your favorite food is a hot box of pizza, bring that along too.
Expect to have fun, laugh and to be YOU because that’s what we are here to document. Side note: if you book a beach session with me, you better expect me to ask/insist that you get in the water :)
FAMILIES, you’re next!
Expect not to expect ahaha literally don’t go into the shoot with high expectations, leave em at your front door. You’ll thank me later.
Tell your littles you’re going to go hangout and play with your friend and the kids will be able to run around, play peekaboo, sing songs and dance. Let them know they are going to have FUN. And we will I promise.
If theres tears, thats life and this is a special season your in so let me document it. You never know the true value of a moment while its being photographed until its literally all you have left. When your baby doesn’t nurse anymore your gonna want a photo to remember those days.
Before every shoot we email our Style Guide and Session Prep PDF
to help you prepare for our session together!
After each shoot and wedding we deliver a preview gallery (online) 24 hours after so
that you have something while you wait for your full gallery.
We know what its like to wait for photos, BELIEVE me. We have waited 6 months
before, YUCK. So we do what we can to provide you with a
preview as soon as possible.
Most importantly expect to let loose,
have fun, laugh, love and be YOU because that’s what we are documenting
and thats why we do what we do.
